For the most current information about the Rosasharn
Farm CSA, check out the project's blog at

Rosasharn Farm has grown over the years, as our family has grown and changed.

In 2009 we are proud to welcome the Rosasharn CSA into existence. This project will provide naturally grown produce and fruit for families in our region of New England.

We are pleased to be working with WIC (USDA), Head Start and Farm Fresh RI, bringing food to families in South Providence, Rhode Island.

Our first step was converting some of pastureland into a large working garden.
As you can see,the weather did not cooperate, but thankfully Rehoboth saw an early spring so we were able to get started sooner than later.

Whoever said that farming was easy obviously
never worked on a farm. But when the corn crop circle grows in
and the rows fill out, the work will be so much more rewarding.

"Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil,
and you're a thousand miles from the corn field. " - President D. D. Eisenhower, 1956

Fall '09
Our Pumpkin Harvest was a bumper crop, despite our chilly weather. Look at the size of these squashes!

Fall is harvest time beyond the gardens too. These "Hens of the Woods," were a tremendous gift from Nature.
