Therefore, the quantity of semen is limited and subject to change of price. As of 12/01 it is: $50/ straw for semen from the third collection (10/01 25% mobility thawed) and $45/straw for semen from the second collection, 10/00 (20+%: the season Tom was bred to 9 does; 7 conceived on the first breeding and one on the second breeding; one did not conceive after two breedings and was bred to someone else).

Semen purchasing information:
Before purchasing semen, you must own or have secured space in a Liquid Nitrogen tank to store the semen until you are ready to use it. (Check with local dairies or goat breeders for rental of storage space). It is shipped in "Goblets" each containing 5 straws, or "Canes" each containing two goblets (10 straws). Price is subject to change and can be locked in with a deposit. You must own or rent a "dry shipper" to ship the straws or goblets. It may be shipped by Fed. Express, second day air or by UPS, east of the Mississippi. Once you have decided what you want; you send me your order with a total payment including payment for the semen, payment for any Nitrogen filling, and payment for the shipping charges. Please check shipping charges as these may change. When I have received payment, we can arrange a particular date according to your connivance. You will need to send me a "Dry Shipper" if we will be shipping semen rather than transfering it from tank to tant here. Once you receive your semen, you must transfer it to a permanent N2 tank. You then use the semen as you need it at your convieniance. As for all semen and artificial insemination procedures, the success depends on the storage and handling of the semen and the expertise and luck of the technition. Rosasharn is therefore not responsible for conception or lack there of.
